ASPIRATIONS FOR TROPHIES

This site was made in the hopes that Game Designers and companies would help rekindle an era where Trophy hunting was fun.

The success of virtual accolades during the Xbox 360 / PS3 era was mainly due to the novelty of them being new. Now because virtual accolades are an afterthought they have lost the same allure.

If you want me to come up with Trophy ideas for your game, I'm serious that I will do it. I care about it that much.

FOR DEVELOPERS - FIXING TROPHIES

• Where possible, have in game-rewards to unlock with the Trophies.
• Avoid participation Trophies for completing objectives that will be obtained via natural gameplay.
• Avoid multiplayer-only Trophies.
• Avoid grind-centric Trophies that only serve to pad out playtime. (Including difficulty-specific and NG+ Trophies)

FOR CONSOLE MANUFACTURERS - FIXING TROPHIES

• Ensure your console UI isn't slow and the Trophy list can be accessed with minimal inputs.
• Allow players to showcase their Trophies in their profile.
• Promote custom UI rewards, emotes, themes, avatars, etc. for completing Trophies and obtaining milestones.
• Condense duplicate Trophy lists from separate regions, consoles and remasters into one single list.
• Allow players to delete any Trophy list from their history.
